Biographies

Clay Brendish

Chairman of the Board

Clay Brendish became GlobeOp's chairman in 2007. He is also a non-executive Chairman of Anite Group plc, Echo Research Limited and Close Beacon Investment Fund. Mr. Brendish’s other non-executive Directorships are BT Group plc and Herald Investment Trust plc. He is a trustee of Economist Newspapers Limited and the Foundation for Liver Research and director of The Test and Itchen Association Limited. In May 2001, Mr. Brendish retired as deputy chairman of CMG plc. Mr. Brendish’s appointment as deputy chairman followed CMG’s merger with Admiral plc in June 2000. Prior to the merger Mr. Brendish was executive chairman of Admiral plc, a company he co-founded in 1979. Between 1993 and July 2000 he was an advisor to the Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster and the UK Parliamentary Secretary, Office of Public Services, on their Next Steps agencies. He played a prominent role in the privatisation of Her Majesty’s Stationery Office (HMSO), the Civil Service Occupational Health and Safety Agency (OHSA), Recruitment and Assessment Services (RAS) and Chessington Computer Centre. He was non-executive director of Ordnance Survey between 1993 and 1996 and was a member of the Malaysian British Business Council until May 2001.

Hans Hufschmid

Director and Chief Executive Officer

Hans Hufschmid is chief executive officer and a member of GlobeOp's management committee. He is based at our London office. Prior to becoming one of GlobeOp's founding partners in 2000, Mr. Hufschmid was a principal at Long-Term Capital Management (‘‘LTCM’’) and co-head of its London office for five years, supervising traders, researchers, programmers and administration personnel. He also served on LTCM’s risk management and management committees. He previously spent ten years with Salomon Brothers Inc. in London and New York; the last four as global head of foreign exchange sales and trading. Mr. Hufschmid was a managing director and a member of Salomon Brothers’ credit committee.

Martin Veilleux

Director and Chief Financial Officer

Martin Veilleux is our chief financial officer and a member of our management and operating committees. He is based in New York, NY office. Prior to joining GlobeOp in October 2006, Mr. Veilleux served as chief financial officer, treasurer and corporate secretary at NaviSys, Inc. and Boron, LePore & Associates. Prior to that, Mr. Veilleux spent 10 years at Concurrent Computer Corporation, where he served in positions of increasing responsibility in the finance organization. Mr. Veilleux began his career at Arthur Andersen. He is a certified public accountant.

Rory Brooks

Non-executive Director

Rory Brooks has served as a member of GlobeOp's Board since 2000, and is a member of the compensation committee. Mr. Brooks was the co-founder of Mezzanine Management. Prior to co-founding Mezzanine Management in 1988, Mr. Brooks spent 13 years at the Bank of Boston of which nine years were in the United States where his responsibilities included leading the bank’s corporate lending activities in New York. Subsequently he headed the bank’s mezzanine financing unit in London. He has served as a director of BPC, Ferembal, Sicli, Century Inns, Eurofarad, Xtreme Information, Hawkpoint Holdings and Polestar.

Jonathan Meeks

Non-executive Director

Jonathan Meeks has served as a member of GlobeOp's Board since September 2003. Mr. Meeks joined TA Associates, Inc., a global private equity firm, in 1997 and has been a managing director of TA Associates since 2006. From July 1995 to September 1997, Mr. Meeks was an analyst at Robertson Stephens. Mr. Meeks is also a director of six privately held companies in which TA Associates is an investor.

Edward Annunziato

Independent Non-executive Director

Edward Annunziato has served as a member of GlobeOp's Board since July 2004. Currently a private investor, Mr. Annunziato was the chairman and chief executive officer of Wit Soundview Europe Limited from April 2000 to March 2001. Before joining Wit Soundview, Mr. Annunziato served as a managing director of Merrill Lynch & Co. Mr. Annunziato is also a director of one privately held company.

David Gelber

Independent Non-executive Director

David Gelber has served as a member of GlobeOp's Board since 6 June 2007. From 1994 to 2005, Mr. Gelber was chief operating officer of ICAP Plc. He was also an executive director of ICAP Plc for 7 years and a non-executive director for a further year. Prior to joining ICAP Plc, Mr. Gelber served as chief operating officer of HSBC Global Markets. Currently Mr. Gelber is a director of Intercapital Private Group Ltd, which owns City Index Ltd, a spreadbetting and CFD provider, chairman of Krupaco Finance Limited and a consultant to ICAP Plc. He is also a non-executive director of MoneyGaming.com Ltd, Eseclending Inc., DAWNAY DAY Limited, and non-executive chairman of Walker, Crisps Plc and a member of the Global Advisory Board of Millenium Associates.

Edward Nicoll

Independent Non-executive Director

Edward Nicoll has served as a member of GlobeOp's Board since July 2004 and is the chairman of the audit committee. Mr. Nicoll previously served as the chairman and chief executive officer of Instinet Inc. From January 1999 to September 2002, Mr. Nicoll served as chairman and chief executive officer of Datek Online Holdings Corp. and as chairman of The Island ECN, Inc. Prior to joining Datek Online, Mr. Nicoll served as president of Waterhouse Securities, Inc. Currently, Mr. Nicoll serves as a director of Instinet, Inc. and Gerson Lehrman, Inc. Mr. Nicoll is a trustee of The Manhattan Institute.

Arun Seth

Independent Non-executive Director

Arun Seth has served as a member of GlobeOp’s Board since January 2008. Mr Seth is chairman of BT India responsible for operations at BT Group India and leading BT's corporate social responsibility activity. Prior to joining BT in 1995, he served as senior vice president in the corporate management division of the UB Group , India’s leading brewing and spirits group, based in Bangalore and Delhi. His other corporate board memberships include Tech Mahindra and Acme Telepower. He also serves on the boards of NASSCOM (India’s IT Services Association), the Indian Institute of Management Lucknow and HelpAge India, the leading national charity for the elderly.
